College of Charleston School of Business Secures $6 Million to Propel Impactful Education in Historic Charleston

We are thrilled to announce that the College of Charleston School of Business has raised $6,000,000 in funding to further enhance our commitment to impactful education in the historic, global, coastal city of Charleston.

This milestone not only reinforces our reputation for academic excellence but also fuels our ongoing mission to provide innovative learning experiences in collaboration with our industry partners.

At our institution, where 10 undergraduate majors, 14 minors, and 10 concentration areas prepare students to excel in today’s dynamic business environment, this substantial investment will be strategically allocated to expand our Centers of Excellence and innovative initiatives.

These enhancements are designed to broaden our research capabilities and deepen industry collaborations in specialty areas such as real estate, impact entrepreneurship, global business, economic forecasting, women’s leadership advocacy, hospitality, and tourism.

The infusion of funds will support improvements in curricular development, state-of-the-art facility upgrades, and personalized experiential learning opportunities that further bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world practice.

In addition, our Honors Program and top-ranked MBA and accountancy master’s programs, which continue to garner national recognition by prestigious rankings such as U.S.

News & World Report, will benefit from new partnerships and resources aimed at cultivating future leaders.
