The Spanish state-owned trading company COFIDES has closed a Series C funding round, securing $300.0M. The capital will bolster its mission to manage financial funds from the Spanish State, its own resources, and those of third-party institutions.
COFIDES focuses on the internationalization of the Spanish economy, attracting foreign investment into strategic sectors, and promoting the impact economy. Its unique structure includes the Spanish State as a majority shareholder, alongside Banco Santander, BBVA, Banco Sabadell, and CAF–Development Bank of Latin America.
