A new approach to passive cooling, utilizing panels that absorb heat during the day and release it at night, has landed Climasel a $55K grant from Startupbootcamp. The funding will bolster the startup's efforts to bring its energy-efficient panels to market, aiming to cut air conditioner energy use by 25%.
Climasel's 60x60 cm2 panels, featuring a modern design and fire-resistant aluminum casing, are engineered to adapt to local weather conditions for optimal heat management. The company projects potential annual savings of $5000 for a 300 m2 space, offering a compelling alternative for cooling rooms, offices, and restaurants.
