City Protocol has raised $11.0M in seed funding, a round that pulls together Dragonfly Capital, Jump Crypto, CMT Digital, Stratified Capital, Adaverse, and Mirana.
The startup is building what it calls a "neofinance infrastructure layer" aimed at bringing real-world yield on-chain. Its flagship product, City Neobank, is designed as a unified platform where users can earn stable yield through tokenized real-world assets and DeFi vaults, swap assets across chains using intent-based abstraction, and earn daily rewards for contributing "mindshare" through a proof-of-contribution engine. The pitch is straightforward: make institutional-grade assets accessible to a broader audience, without the usual friction of moving between fragmented crypto rails.
