Circolife has raised $4.5M in a pre-seed round backed by Bharat Jaisinghani, marking an early bet on a model that swaps air conditioner sales for monthly subscriptions.
The Thane-based startup offers commercial customers IoT-enabled, 5-star energy-efficient cooling units with no upfront capital expenditure-instead, businesses pay a recurring fee that covers installation, maintenance, repairs, and gas refills for the contract's life. Circolife says its units deliver roughly 30% energy savings and uses predictive maintenance to flag issues before downtime hits. It currently serves commercial clients across six Indian cities, from salons and clinics to hospital networks. The fresh capital arrives as the company pushes a "Cooling-as-a-Service" pitch that positions predictable outcomes over equipment ownership.
