Seven US regional banks have collectively invested $32.5M into Cari Network, a blockchain-based platform designed to power always-on, programmable money movement. The capital infusion underscores a strategic bet by traditional financial institutions on digital asset solutions that promise both speed and security.
Cari Network's system uses digital tokens, called Cari, which represent USD deposits held at chartered banks and retain FDIC insurance eligibility. This approach aims to unlock working capital and safeguard value by combining bank-grade security with the real-time speed of digital assets.
