Capital Factory, the organization often called the "center of gravity for entrepreneurs in Texas," has secured $10.0M in a pre-seed funding round. The company, which provides meetups, classes, and coworking spaces for thousands of entrepreneurs, programmers, and designers, operates with boots on the ground in Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio.
This capital will further Capital Factory's mission to connect the best entrepreneurs in Texas with their first investors, employees, mentors, and customers. The raise is particularly notable given that, according to Pitchbook, Capital Factory has been the most active investor in Texas since 2010.
