Capella Space, known for its commercial synthetic aperture radar (SAR) constellation, has raised $60.0M to advance its Earth observation capabilities. The funding will bolster the company's efforts to deliver secure, rapid, and actionable intelligence to allied partners globally.
An IonQ company, Capella is creating what it calls the world's first quantum-enabled Earth observation network. It stands out as the first U.S. company to launch and operate a commercial SAR constellation, providing precise, high-resolution imagery in any condition, day or night, through clouds, smoke, or darkness.
