Support costs are climbing, ticket volumes are swelling, and service teams are feeling the squeeze. Capacity, a St. Louis-based omnichannel support automation platform, just raised $50.0M in a Series E round to keep pushing back against that pressure.
The company, founded in 2017 by David Karandish and Chris Sims, sells AI-powered tools for intelligent virtual agents, employee enablement, and process automation. It says its platform now serves nearly 20,000 companies worldwide, handling support across chat, SMS, voice, web, and email. The fresh capital arrives as Capacity continues to fold in acquisitions-it has absorbed more than a dozen firms, including LumenVox, SmartAction, and Textel-to broaden its reach beyond just customer service into the wider enterprise workflow.
