Bynario has raised $2.4M in pre-seed funding to go after a blind spot most security tools leave wide open: the compiled software running in production that no one can actually audit.
The company's AI-powered binary analysis scans compiled code directly - closed-source dependencies, third-party libraries, proprietary components - without needing source access. That matters because existing tools mostly scan source code or monitor runtime, leaving unauditable code with unknown security posture sitting in production. Bynario says it identifies vulnerabilities and provides remediation guidance before attackers find them. The company was built by security researchers and is aimed at DevOps and production teams.
