Buzz Solutions has raised $20.0M in a Series A round, a bet on automating the grunt work of infrastructure inspection. The company’s platform takes the millions of visual data points captured by helicopters, drones, and field crews-think power lines, towers, and similar assets-and runs them through analysis tools that flag faults and anomalies, then lets teams collaborate on the results and export findings.
The pitch is straightforward: inspections that once required hours of manual review can be compressed dramatically, saving customers both time and money while making the process more consistent. The funding arrives as utilities and infrastructure operators lean harder on aerial data, but the company will need to prove its software can scale beyond pilot projects. The investors behind this round weren’t disclosed.
