Breaking Barriers & Building Futures: Con Mi Madre Raises $5K to Empower Latina Leaders

Con Mi MADRE is thrilled to announce a recent funding milestone, having raised $5,000 to further advance its mission in empowering young Latinas and their mothers.

Based in Austin, TX, our organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that remains deeply committed to providing resources and support that pave the way for academic and personal success.

This latest influx of funding will go directly toward enhancing our comprehensive programs, where girls enroll alongside their mothers in the 6th grade and continue their journey together until the young women graduate with a post-secondary degree.

The raised funds are dedicated to expanding critical services such as mother-daughter conferences, college visits, campus meetings, community service activities, counseling, and mentoring sessions that have been instrumental in building confidence and exposing opportunities to promising students.

With this financial boost, Con Mi MADRE is poised to reach even more families and create new initiatives aimed at breaking barriers to education.

The support provided through our programs not only prepares participants academically but also equips them with the essential life skills needed in today’s competitive environment.
