Blackfrog Technologies Secures $266K Funding to Revolutionize Last-Mile Vaccine Delivery with Emvólio

Blackfrog Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a Manipal-based technology startup dedicated to transforming immunization supply chains, has successfully raised ₹266,000 in its latest funding round.

This significant capital injection comes as a boost to Blackfrog’s mission of enhancing last-mile vaccine delivery by leveraging innovative technology.

The funding will accelerate the company’s ongoing development and market rollout of its flagship product, Emvólio—a portable, battery-powered refrigeration device ingeniously designed to maintain precise temperatures during vaccine transport.

Emvólio’s patented system not only ensures that vaccines remain at the optimal temperature for over 12 hours but also offers additional features including continuous temperature monitoring, location tracking, a state-of-charge indicator, and live communication with headquarters for improved logistical efficiency.

With a 2-liter capacity capable of accommodating 30 to 50 vials, Emvólio is tailor-made to support daylong immunization campaigns, making it an essential tool in bridging the gap between healthcare facilities and remote locations.

The infusion of ₹266,000 will enable Blackfrog Technologies to enhance the device’s production capabilities, expand its reach, and further refine its precision cold-chain and vaccine traceability solutions.
