Bioactivx®, a regenerative tissue engineering startup spun out of A*Star in 2023, has raised $3.0M in a Series A round backed by Martin Krupp and Cocoon Capital.
The company is developing a platform of hybrid biosynthetic polymers aimed at improving soft and hard tissue regeneration. Its lead product, the Bioactiv Matrix, targets superficial and partial thickness acute wounds-including burns, traumatic lacerations, and split-thickness skin graft donor sites-with the goal of enabling faster, better skin healing. The fresh capital arrives as the startup looks to push its initial product toward broader clinical and commercial traction.
