India's fragmented private B2B procurement, often mired in unverified suppliers and advance payments without guarantees, is getting a digital overhaul. BharatTender, a new marketplace aiming to bring structure to this chaos, has successfully raised $150K in pre-seed funding.
The platform provides a dedicated tendering system where businesses can post RFQs and pre-verified vendors submit sealed competitive bids. With agentic AI benchmarking market prices and payments held in escrow until confirmed delivery, BharatTender seeks to offer private enterprises the same transparent and secure procurement infrastructure that the government's GeM platform provides.
