With this significant capital injection, the company is poised to accelerate its development and management of nearly 5GWac of renewable power projects spread across key Indian states such as Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Gujarat.

This exciting funding round underscores the stakeholder confidence in Ayana’s ambitious vision of expanding its portfolio to 10GWac by 2025, reaffirming the company’s commitment to sustainable power generation and environmental stewardship.

Ayana, which is now majority-owned by the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund Limited’s core infrastructure fund, further benefits from strategic partnerships with British International Investment (BII), a prominent UK development finance institution and impact investor, as well as Eversource Capital, India’s leading climate impact investor.

The robust investor backing provides Ayana not only with financial strength but also enhanced expertise and support to drive forward innovative projects, including the exploration of pilot green hydrogen initiatives in the near future.
