Axio BioPharma has raised $2.4M in pre-seed funding. The Madison, Wisconsin-based company is building software for a problem that sits between companies rather than inside them: biomanufacturing data scattered across LIMS, MES, ELN, historians, ERP and QMS systems that were never designed to talk to each other across company lines.
Its Lattice product connects that data so teams can work from the same process information without moving the underlying data, replacing existing systems or changing ownership. Initial use cases include technology transfer, investigations and AI-enabled process development. A companion layer, Rosetta, maps differences in terminology, structure and context so data stays comparable across organizations. Axio also runs Forge, a non-GMP laboratory in Madison that produces research-grade monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins in three to five weeks from electronic sequence.
