A new infusion of capital is set to accelerate Automated Architecture (AUAR), the company building an automated construction ecosystem for housing. The startup, pronounced ‘our’, has closed a $6.3M Series A funding round.
AUAR partners with homebuilders, developers, and manufacturers, providing a tech-stack of Robotic Micro-Factories and AI-powered design-to-manufacturing software. Its 'No Capex' Hardware-as-a-Service model aims to boost efficiencies, predictability, and oversight, while significantly cutting financial risk and environmental costs for timber homes, positioning AUAR as a key enabler for sustainable, affordable housing at scale.
