With a mission to transform critical care, neurotechnology startup Aurenar, Inc. has closed a $5.7M Seed funding round. The capital infusion comes from a syndicate of investors including Go Red for Women Venture Fund, Solas BioVentures, BJC Health, and Kaleida Capital.
Aurenar is developing a non-invasive, single-use neuromodulation platform designed to reduce costly and life-threatening complications caused by inflammation in intensive care units, starting with stroke patients. The technology aims to improve patient outcomes and reduce the financial burden on healthcare systems.
