The mission to democratize hardware just got an early financial boost. Atech, a startup focused on making hardware more accessible, has closed an $800K pre-seed funding round, signaling initial investor belief in its ambitious vision.
The capital comes from a notable group of backers, including institutional funds Nordic Makers, Emblem, and Lovable. Further support arrived from the prominent Sequoia Scout Fund and Andreessen Horowitz Scout Fund, alongside individual investor Anton Osika, underscoring the broad appeal of Atech's early-stage proposition.
