Ashgate Hospice Celebrates £2,700 Funding Boost to Enhance Compassionate Care at Home and Inpatient Services

Ashgate Hospice is proud to announce a recent funding milestone of £2,700, a vital boost to our mission of providing compassionate, specialist palliative and end of life care free of charge for patients with life-limiting illnesses and for their families across North Derbyshire.

700636), we are dedicated to ensuring that those in our community receive the highest level of care, whether in the comfort of their own homes or, when needed, within our Inpatient Unit designed to accommodate patients with the most complex needs.

Unlike many NHS facilities, less than 30% of our income comes from local NHS health budgets, making the generosity of community donations absolutely essential to our work.

Every contribution truly counts, as every £1 donated—whether through participating in events, purchasing items in our shops, or through direct donations—enables us to deliver personalized care that makes a real difference in the lives of our patients.

The recent infusion of £2,700 will be strategically invested in enhancing our outreach and care programs, supporting our talented team of specialist nurses, therapists, and healthcare professionals who care for our patients in familiar surroundings.
