Aqua has raised $15.0M in a Series A round, with Arthur Ventures and Alumni Ventures leading the charge. The company is building what it calls an AI-native Turnkey Alternative Investment Platform, or TAIP, aimed at making alternative assets easier for the wealth channel to handle.
The pitch is straightforward: alternatives have long been a headache for advisors and firms to scale-clunky processes, compliance hurdles, and a general lack of simplicity. Aqua wants to fix that with a platform that leans on AI to streamline the whole thing. It鈥檚 already got some notable backing from Google and Y Combinator, which adds a bit of pedigree to the story. The fresh capital should help push that mission further, though specifics on how the money will be deployed weren鈥檛 shared.
