Antioch has raised $32.0M in a Series A round, a bet that the future of robotics development will happen less in physical labs and more in the cloud. The funding was led by Greylock Partners, with participation from A*, Category Ventures, BoxGroup, and Icehouse Ventures.
The company builds a simulation platform where teams can construct and test an entire autonomy stack-from perception to control-in a single virtual environment. Its pitch is that AI agents with a native grasp of 3D spaces can accelerate the iteration cycle, letting engineers stress-test robots against scenarios that would be too slow, costly, or risky to stage in the real world. The fresh capital arrives as investors increasingly look for the picks-and-shovels layer beneath the broader robotics boom.
