Antares, a startup building compact nuclear microreactors for critical energy needs, has closed a $470.0M Series C funding round. The company, which aims to deliver reliable, mobile power to remote military bases, industrial sites, and eventually deep space missions, secured investment from Paradigm and Caffeinated Capital.
This latest capital injection underscores Antares' mission to move the U.S. nuclear industry forward after decades of stagnation. The company emphasizes shipping hardware over hypotheticals, with a team that includes engineers and operators from SpaceX, Relativity Space, and the U.S. Air Force.
