ANote Music has raised $2.3M to keep building out its marketplace for music royalties. The European fintech platform lets investors buy and sell shares in vetted music catalogues, then collect proportional payouts when those songs earn from streaming, radio, TV and other sources.
Seventure Partners and Scalefund backed the round. ANote also runs a secondary market for trading those shares, part of its pitch to bring liquidity and transparency to an asset class that has traditionally been hard to exit.
