Anacalypsis Therapeutics has raised $344K in pre-seed funding from Metavallon VC to advance its work on neurodegenerative disease.
The company is developing gene-based therapeutics and biomarkers aimed at Parkinson's disease, which affects roughly 10 million people globally and has no disease-modifying therapies that can disrupt its progression. Its approach centers on the structure-based design of compounds that disrupt specific protein interactions and signaling pathways linked to neurodegeneration.
