Altaeros Secures $2 Million Funding for Expansion of Autonomous Aerostat Technology

We are thrilled to announce that Altaeros has successfully raised $2 million in our latest funding round, marking a significant milestone in our journey to revolutionize aerial solutions.

Spun out of MIT in 2010, Altaeros was founded on the vision of creating the world’s first autonomous aerostat, designed to deliver innovative services from the sky.

Since launching our first autonomous aerostat in 2019, we have deployed our technology across the United States and around the globe in collaboration with various partners, making strides in industries such as telecommunications, surveillance, and environmental monitoring.

The funding will be pivotal in scaling our operations, enhancing our Aerostat Autopilot™ technology, the first autonomous control system for tethered aerostats, and expanding our product offerings tailored to customer needs.

As we move forward, our focus will be on integrating advanced features into our aerostats, enhancing their functionality and usability in different applications, while also investing in research and development to stay at the forefront of this groundbreaking technology.
