AeroDome Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Raises $1.6M Pre-Seed Funding

AeroDome Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has secured $1,600,000 in investment from a group of investors, marking a significant step for the company focused on advanced satellite technology.

Founded in 2023 by three alumni of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, AeroDome is developing India’s first and largest private Global PNT (Positioning, Navigation, and Timing) Satellite Constellation, designed to deliver highly accurate and secure PNT services worldwide.

This funding round underscores confidence in their mission to address critical gaps in global GNSS infrastructure.

The company's founders bring a strong background in innovation, having previously led Avishkar Hyperloop, a premier student team that pioneered hyperloop technologies in India.

Under their leadership, Avishkar secured $1.

25 million in funding and ranked among the top three hyperloop teams globally, contributing to the development of the world’s first academic hyperloop ecosystem.

Building on this experience, the founders transitioned into drone and swarm technologies, launching commercial operations with a fleet of 60 drones before identifying the pressing need for more precise and secure global PNT services.

This newly raised capital will be instrumental in accelerating the development of AeroDome’s ambitious satellite constellation.

The funds are planned to support core research and development, expand engineering capabilities, and scale initial operational infrastructure necessary for deploying their private PNT network.

The investment will also aid in strengthening AeroDome’s high-caliber team of technologists, industry experts, and strategic advisors, ensuring continued innovation and strategic growth.
