The ADI Foundation, an Abu Dhabi-based organization focused on blockchain infrastructure for emerging markets, has secured $50.0M in new capital. Founded by Sirius International Holding, a technology subsidiary of IHC, the Foundation aims to accelerate the growth of digital economies by empowering governments and institutions.
It's on a mission to bring 1 billion people globally into the digital economy by 2030, building on an existing ecosystem of over 500 million. The Foundation designed ADI Chain, the MENA region's first institutional Layer 2 blockchain for stablecoins and real-world assets, and hosts the UAE dirham-backed stablecoin, DDSC.
