Balentine has acquired Valuation Growth Advisory (VGA) for an undisclosed amount. The transaction brings the boutique consulting firm into Balentine’s existing wealth management operations, expanding its service offering beyond investment and financial planning.
VGA operates with a personalized advisory model, where a single principal, Tom, serves as the primary point of accountability for each client engagement. He manages strategy and execution while coordinating a network of specialists in tax strategy, human resources, insurance, accounting, financial outsourcing, recruiting, and operational process effectiveness. This structure allows VGA to deliver integrated, results-driven solutions without the overhead of a large firm.
For Balentine, the acquisition adds a complementary layer of business consulting to its core wealth advisory practice. The firm gains direct access to VGA’s cross-functional expertise, which can be applied to the complex financial situations of its existing client base. In turn, VGA’s clients gain access to Balentine’s broader investment platform and fiduciary resources, creating a more comprehensive suite of services under one roof.
The deal is expected to deepen client relationships by addressing both personal wealth and business operational challenges in a single engagement. Balentine will retain VGA’s existing leadership and advisory approach, preserving the hands-on model that distinguishes the acquired firm. The integration will focus on aligning service delivery while maintaining the personalized accountability that VGA clients currently receive.
With the acquisition complete, the combined entity is positioned to serve a wider range of client needs, from investment management to operational strategy. The immediate priority will be integrating VGA’s specialist network into Balentine’s existing client service framework, with further service expansion likely to follow as the two teams align their processes.
