Randa Apparel & Accessories has acquired UNTUCKit for an undisclosed amount, bringing the direct-to-consumer menswear brand under the umbrella of one of the largest privately held apparel and accessories companies in North America. The deal transfers ownership of UNTUCKit’s operations, including its 80-plus retail locations and e-commerce business, to Randa, which will now oversee the brand’s day-to-day management and future growth.
UNTUCKit, founded in 2011 by Chris Riccobono and CEO Aaron Sanandres, built its identity around a simple premise: dress casually and still look sharp. The company pioneered the category of shirts designed to be worn untucked and has since expanded into polos, Henleys, tees, pants, dresses, shoes, and accessories. Headquartered in New York’s SoHo neighborhood, the brand serves a broad customer base across multiple sizes and styles, with a team focused on polished, casual fashion.
Randa Apparel & Accessories, a major player in the apparel sector, manages a diverse portfolio of licensed and owned brands across men’s and women’s categories. The acquisition of UNTUCKit adds a strong direct-to-consumer label to that portfolio, giving Randa a foothold in the growing market for casual, versatile menswear. For UNTUCKit, the deal provides access to Randa’s established supply chain, sourcing expertise, and distribution networks, which could help the brand scale more efficiently while maintaining its product focus.
The transaction is expected to combine UNTUCKit’s brand recognition and retail footprint with Randa’s operational scale. Randa can leverage its infrastructure to support UNTUCKit’s expansion, while UNTUCKit brings a loyal customer base and a differentiated product line to Randa’s existing offerings. No changes to UNTUCKit’s leadership or store operations have been announced as part of the deal.
The combined entity will likely focus on strengthening UNTUCKit’s omnichannel presence and extending its product range, with Randa providing the resources to pursue those goals. The brand’s future under new ownership will depend on how effectively Randa integrates its capabilities without diluting the casual, sharp aesthetic that defined UNTUCKit’s rise.
