Salute has acquired T5 Data Centers for an undisclosed amount, a transaction that consolidates two private players in the data center infrastructure sector. The deal, finalized this week, transfers ownership of T5’s development pipeline and operational assets to Salute, which will now oversee the company’s existing campuses and customer contracts.
T5 Data Centers specializes in build-to-suit data center solutions, offering development, construction, and facility management services both on its own campuses and within client-owned facilities. The company, which has operated for nearly two decades, supports enterprises focused on AI and technology innovation, providing flexible design, capex, and operations models. Salute, the acquiring entity, brings its own portfolio and management capabilities to the combined operation, though specific terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
The acquisition is driven by a need to scale capacity in a market where demand for AI-ready infrastructure continues to outpace supply. T5’s expertise in managing construction risks and delivering “Forever On” performance aligns with Salute’s broader strategy to expand its footprint in high-growth data center regions. By folding T5’s operational teams and development expertise into its structure, Salute gains immediate access to a skilled workforce and an established track record in complex, large-scale projects.
For customers, the change in ownership is expected to be seamless, as T5’s service models and project commitments remain intact under the new parent company. The combined entity will likely prioritize the completion of ongoing build-to-suit projects while evaluating new campus developments, leveraging T5’s construction-as-a-service offerings to differentiate itself in a crowded market. The integration of T5’s culture of excellence into Salute’s operations will be a key focus in the coming quarters, as the two teams align on quality standards and delivery timelines.
