SW Energia OÜ, an Estonian company founded in 1999, is a significant player in the thermal energy sector, specializing in the production, distribution, and sale of heat energy. With annual sales revenue exceeding 10 million euros, SW Energia OÜ has built a strong presence in Estonia. The company is known for its commitment to environmentally friendly and sustainable heat energy, primarily through the operation of biofuel boiler houses that utilize wood chips as a renewable energy source. Since 2005, SW Energia OÜ has been a member of the Estonian Power Plants and District Heating Organization, and in 2018, it certified over 70% of its district heating networks with the Efficient District Heating label, underscoring its focus on operational efficiency and environmental responsibility. The company currently manages more than 250 boiler houses across Estonia.
