This corporate transaction involves Targa Resources purchasing the independent midstream oil and gas company, which is known for its comprehensive services and carbon management solutions. Stakeholder Midstream is dedicated to solving problems and creating value for its customers through all key phases of the midstream value chain. Its operations are concentrated in West Texas and Southeast New Mexico, encompassing assets like the San Andres Crude Gathering System, the Campo Viejo Gas Gathering System, and carbon sequestration wells. The company has a significant focus on environmental responsibility, operating three permanent sequestration wells capable of capturing and storing approximately 150,000 metric tons per year of CO2, and offers CO2 disposal and storage services in the Permian Basin and beyond.
