In 2025, it delivered tailored, personalised care to over 1.36 million inpatients, outpatients, and day case patients, as well as workplace health clients, working in partnership with over 8,800 experienced consultants. The group is recognised as the leading private provider, by volume, of knee and hip operations in the United Kingdom.
The acquisition provides Ashurst Perkins Coie with a substantial footprint in the robust UK healthcare market, leveraging Spire's established infrastructure and comprehensive service offerings. This strategic move is anticipated to support Spire's continued growth and operational excellence, potentially enhancing its capacity for patient care and service innovation across its diverse service lines.
