Fishbowl has acquired Repfabric for an undisclosed amount, bringing the AI-driven CRM and commission tracking platform into its inventory and warehouse management ecosystem. The deal, finalized this week, adds a purpose-built sales solution for manufacturers’ representatives to Fishbowl’s existing suite of operational tools.
Repfabric, founded by a veteran of a 12-year rep firm, targets a niche that generic CRMs often miss. Its platform combines customer relationship management with advanced commission tracking, designed specifically for multi-line selling across rep agencies, manufacturers, and distributors. The software addresses pain points like reconciling commission statements from multiple principals, eliminating double data entry through its CRMSync feature, and using AI to automate call documentation and follow-ups. It serves industries including electrical, electronics, HVAC, plumbing, contract furniture, industrial, and medical sectors.
For Fishbowl, the acquisition expands its reach beyond warehouse operations into the sales front end. Fishbowl’s core strength lies in inventory control and manufacturing management, while Repfabric covers the revenue-generating side of the channel. By integrating the two, Fishbowl can offer a more complete workflow-from lead tracking and commission verification to order fulfillment and stock management-without forcing users to stitch together disparate systems.
The strategic logic centers on data continuity. Repfabric’s real-time dashboards and mobile voice-to-text logging feed directly into a rep’s daily routine, while Fishbowl’s backend can translate those sales activities into tangible inventory movements. For manufacturers managing rep networks, this means a single source of truth for both pipeline and physical goods. The combined entity will likely target existing Fishbowl customers who currently rely on spreadsheets or generic CRMs, as well as Repfabric’s established base of rep firms seeking tighter operational integration.
Post-deal, the two product lines will remain available, with integration work expected to focus on seamless data exchange between sales activity and inventory levels. The acquisition positions the combined company to serve a broader segment of the distribution chain, though specific product roadmaps and pricing structures have not yet been disclosed.
