Gulf Warehousing Company, Qatar’s largest logistics provider, has acquired Quivo, a leading European direct-to-consumer (D2C) fulfillment provider, for an undisclosed amount. This strategic acquisition signifies a major expansion for GWC into the e-commerce fulfillment sector, integrating Quivo's specialized technology and extensive European network into its global operations. Quivo, known for its innovative logistics web app, the Quivo Connector, operates eight locations across Europe and serves over 1,450 customers worldwide, offering scalable order fulfillment services for e-commerce companies in various sectors including beauty, fashion, and electronics.
Quivo has established itself as a significant player in e-commerce logistics, providing flexible and technology-driven fulfillment solutions that manage storage, picking, packing, and shipping, alongside handling returns. Its state-of-the-art software integrates with over 40 e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Amazon FBM, and WooCommerce. Gulf Warehousing Company, with its extensive logistics network, state-of-the-art warehouses, and last-mile expertise, traditionally serves a broad range of industries. The acquisition builds upon a pre-existing partnership where both companies collaborated to establish a powerful fulfillment infrastructure in the Gulf region.
The integration is expected to create substantial synergies, combining Quivo’s D2C e-commerce fulfillment know-how and advanced technology with GWC’s robust regional logistics network and infrastructure. This move allows GWC to significantly enhance its service offerings for the rapidly growing e-commerce market, while enabling Quivo to accelerate its international growth by accessing new markets across Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and beyond. The combined entity is positioned to offer an even more comprehensive and flexible global logistics solution for companies seeking to scale their e-commerce operations.
