Euroclear Acquires Proxymity to Boost Digital Investor

Euroclear has acquired Proxymity for an undisclosed amount, marking a significant move to enhance digital capabilities in investor communications.

Proxymity, a leading digital investor communications platform, connects issuers, intermediaries, and investors directly in real time, replacing manual, fragmented, and paper-based processes with secure, authenticated digital connectivity across the shareholder communications chain.

Proxymity's technology is adopted by 94% of FTSE 100 companies and offers solutions such as Vote Connect, a digital proxy voting platform, and Shareholder Insights, a reporting suite for issuers.

These platforms deliver faster processing, greater accuracy, and end-to-end transparency in critical areas like meeting announcements, vote instructions, and shareholder ownership visibility.

The company was founded by Dean Little and Jonathan Smalley and developed within Citi’s ICG Securities Services business.

This acquisition is strategic for Euroclear, a global provider of settlement and related services for financial markets.
