The Larson Group (TLG Peterbilt) has acquired Performance Peterbilt for an undisclosed amount, effective November 17, 2025. Performance Peterbilt operates five Peterbilt dealerships across Florida and Georgia, offering sales, parts, and service to its customers.
TLG Peterbilt, a family-owned company founded in 1987, has built a reputation for providing extensive support to the trucking industry. The company offers a wide range of services including new and used truck sales, comprehensive service solutions, mobile service, body shop facilities, a substantial inventory of OEM and aftermarket parts, leasing, rental, and in-house financing across its existing network.
This strategic acquisition significantly expands TLG Peterbilt's geographical footprint, integrating Performance Peterbilt’s established presence in Florida and Georgia. The move allows TLG to deepen its market penetration in the southeastern United States, enhancing its capacity to serve a broader customer base. With this acquisition, The Larson Group’s network now encompasses 34 locations across 11 states, reinforcing its position as a leading Peterbilt dealer.
The integration is expected to yield operational synergies and broaden access for customers to TLG’s comprehensive resources, including its 24-hour call center and extensive parts inventory. TLG Peterbilt has stated its intention to maintain the existing personnel at the acquired locations, ensuring continuity for customers. The combined entity is poised to offer an even more robust and integrated support system for the commercial trucking industry throughout its expanded operational footprint.
