Truvant has acquired Multi-Pak Packaging for an undisclosed amount, a transaction that adds contract packaging and supply chain services to Truvant’s existing portfolio. The deal brings together Truvant, a provider of manufacturing and logistics solutions, with Multi-Pak, a full-service contract packager based in a 160,000-square-foot temperature and humidity controlled facility.
Multi-Pak specializes in solid dose packaging and warehousing, serving clients that require strict regulatory compliance. The company holds FDA registration, NSF certification, and Organic, Kosher, UL, and Gluten Free accreditations, and it operates under 21 CFR 210 and 211 standards within its quality management systems. Its services range from project coordination by dedicated client managers to engineering support for technical questions, with a focus on consistent quality and cleanliness.
For Truvant, the acquisition expands its capabilities into a regulated packaging niche that complements its existing operational footprint. Multi-Pak’s facility and certifications allow Truvant to offer clients a more integrated path from production to packaged, market-ready goods. The deal is expected to strengthen Truvant’s position in sectors where compliance and controlled environments are critical, such as pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals.
Multi-Pak’s emphasis on customer relationships, including assigned client managers for each project, aligns with Truvant’s service-oriented approach. The combined entity will likely leverage Multi-Pak’s engineering department and quality systems to support cross-selling opportunities, while Truvant’s broader logistics network could extend Multi-Pak’s reach beyond its current customer base.
The acquisition is now complete, and the two companies will begin integrating operations. Truvant’s leadership has indicated that Multi-Pak’s existing facility and staff will remain in place to preserve continuity for current clients. Over the coming months, the focus will be on aligning processes and identifying shared efficiencies, with the goal of offering a more comprehensive suite of packaging and supply chain services under one roof.
