CDW has acquired Lovelytics, a data, AI, and analytics consulting firm headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, for an undisclosed amount. The deal brings Lovelytics’ specialized expertise in the Databricks ecosystem under the umbrella of CDW’s broader technology solutions portfolio.
Lovelytics operates with team members across the US, Canada, Argentina, Colombia, and Spain, and has earned consistent recognition as a top Databricks partner. The firm delivers consulting services that help clients deploy and scale data and AI workloads, working across Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS to integrate Databricks into diverse cloud environments. Backed by Databricks Ventures and Interlock Equity, Lovelytics has built a reputation for technical depth in a fast-growing segment of the analytics market.
For CDW, a major provider of IT solutions and services, the acquisition addresses a growing demand among its customers for advanced data and AI capabilities. Rather than building this practice from scratch, CDW gains immediate access to a team with proven delivery experience and established relationships within the Databricks partner network. The move aligns with CDW’s strategy to expand its higher-value consulting and professional services offerings, which typically carry stronger margins than hardware resale.
The combination is expected to extend CDW’s reach into enterprise data modernization projects, where clients increasingly seek help moving from legacy analytics to cloud-native platforms. Lovelytics’ consultants will join CDW’s existing services organization, allowing the larger company to cross-sell data and AI engagements to its extensive corporate and public-sector customer base. For Lovelytics, the deal provides access to CDW’s scale, sales channels, and operational resources, which could accelerate the adoption of its Databricks-focused offerings.
The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions. Once completed, the combined entity will be positioned to compete more directly for large-scale data transformation contracts, leveraging Lovelytics’ specialized skills alongside CDW’s broad distribution footprint.
