Temple has acquired ICL América do Sul for an undisclosed amount. The transaction transfers ownership of the South American operations of ICL, a global leader in specialty minerals, to Temple, which will now control the regional business unit and its associated assets.
ICL América do Sul focuses on impactful, innovative, and sustainable solutions in plant nutrition and physiology, animal nutrition, and the supply of raw materials for the fertilizer industry. The company leverages a unique combination of natural resources, technical teams, and applied technological innovation to address specific agricultural demands across the countries where it operates. Its work is centered on increasing crop yields and food quality while supporting sustainability in agriculture and industry, as well as contributing to environmental protection.
For Temple, the acquisition provides direct ownership of a well-established regional platform with access to ICL’s specialized mineral portfolio and its operational footprint in South American markets. The deal is expected to strengthen Temple’s position in the agricultural inputs sector by adding a complementary line of specialty products and raw material supply capabilities to its existing operations. The integration is likely to focus on combining distribution networks and technical service expertise to better serve local growers and industrial clients.
The combined entity will operate with a broader product range and a deeper regional presence, aiming to maintain continuity for existing customers while gradually aligning operational processes. The transaction is expected to close following customary regulatory approvals, after which Temple will assume full management of the acquired business.
