Chapters Health System has acquired Oregon-based Housecall Providers. The financial terms of the transaction, which was reported on September 22, 2026, were not disclosed.
The deal, announced in February, expanded Chapters Health System's offerings in hospice, home-based, and advanced illness care. Chapters Health, established in 1983, is a nonprofit that provides hospice, palliative care, and home health services through a network of 30 medical organizations and programs. It also offers durable medical equipment, pharmacy services, and Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). Chapters Health operates in Florida, Georgia, New York, and New Jersey, among other states.
According to Andrew Molosky, president and CEO at Chapters Health, nonprofit hospices are increasingly seeking collaborative affiliations to better position themselves financially amid rising demand and increasing care costs. Molosky stated that the industry is embracing the need to band together, share resources, and find benefits of scale. For Chapters Health, benefits of such agreements have included greater sustainability, increased staff satisfaction, and improved quality scores. Molosky also noted that alignment of organizational culture is a key consideration for the sustainability of an affiliation.
