IT Services and IT Consulting

Solita has acquired Heyra, a Helsinki-based AI consultancy, for an undisclosed amount. The deal brings Heyra’s team of 50 specialists into Solita’s broader technology and data services operation, expanding the acquirer’s capacity to deliver AI projects from initial concept through to full-scale deployment.

Heyra operates as a consultancy built for what it calls the agentic era, focusing on designing, building, and operating AI products that change how enterprises work. Its staff includes Forward Deployed Engineers, Deployment Strategists, Designers, and Researchers who embed AI into client operations and ensure adoption across organizations. Solita, a Nordic technology company with a strong track record in data, digital services, and business transformation, gains a dedicated unit that moves from problem definition to prototype and production without the typical handoffs between consulting phases.

The acquisition is strategic for Solita because it addresses a common gap in the market: many companies have piloted AI but struggle to integrate it into daily workflows. Heyra’s model is built for that integration, pairing engineering with organizational change management. By absorbing Heyra, Solita can offer clients a more seamless path from strategy to operational AI, rather than relying on separate vendors for design, build, and run phases.

For Heyra, joining Solita provides access to a larger client base and broader industry reach, while retaining its specialized team and working methods. The founders have indicated that the unit will continue to operate with a high degree of autonomy, preserving the speed and focus that defined its early work.

The combined entity is positioned to compete more directly with larger system integrators and pure-play AI firms. With Heyra’s deployment expertise folded into Solita’s existing data and cloud capabilities, the company can pursue larger, more complex transformation programs across the Nordics and beyond. The immediate priority will be integrating delivery processes and aligning client accounts, with the expectation that joint offerings will reach the market within the coming quarters.
