Luno has acquired GTXN Global, a cross-border payments company. The deal stage is completed. The amount was not disclosed in the sources.
Luno said the acquisition gives it licensed rails to move money across corridors linking developed and emerging markets, settled through one provider. Dan Kleinbaum was named CEO to lead GTXN Global.
"Moving money between developed and emerging markets is still too slow and too expensive, and our clients feel it every day," said James Lanigan, CEO of Luno. "GTXN gives us the payment rails to match. Clients get one provider for the whole flow, which is what they have been asking us for."
The date reported by the source is 2026-09-24.
