Agnico Eagle Mines Limited has acquired Goldsky Resources (TSXV: GSKR | FNSE: GSKR | OTCQX: GSKRF) for an undisclosed amount.

This corporate acquisition sees Agnico Eagle take full ownership of the Nordic-focused gold and cobalt developer.

Goldsky Resources, established in November 2025 through the merger of First Nordic Metals and Mawson Finland Limited, specializes in advancing strategic mineral assets across Sweden and Finland.

Goldsky's portfolio is anchored by the Barsele gold joint venture in Sweden, where Agnico Eagle was already a partner, and the Rajapalot gold-cobalt project in Finland.

The company also holds the Oijärvi project in Finland and significant district-scale positions along Sweden’s Gold Line Belt.

These assets combine advanced development opportunities with early-stage discovery potential within tier-one jurisdictions, supported by an ESG-first operational approach and pre-approved permitting.

The acquisition is strategically significant for Agnico Eagle, allowing for the consolidation of the Barsele project and providing full control over its development.

Furthermore, it integrates Goldsky’s promising Rajapalot gold-cobalt project and other exploration assets into Agnico Eagle’s existing regional footprint.

This move is expected to streamline operations, enhance resource allocation, and unlock synergies across the combined Nordic portfolio, reinforcing Agnico Eagle’s presence in a key mining region.
