Phoenix Urological Surgeons has acquired Fastbase AI Corp for an undisclosed amount. The transaction transfers ownership of the software company, which specializes in identifying website visitors for lead-generation purposes, to the medical practice group. Fastbase AI Corp will operate as a wholly owned unit under the Phoenix Urological Surgeons umbrella.
Fastbase AI Corp develops Webleads, a tool that integrates with Google Analytics to reveal detailed contact information about website visitors, including company name, DUNS number, address, phone, industry, turnover, and social network profiles. The software also provides a contact person and LinkedIn details, allowing users to optimize Google AdWords spending by understanding which organizations respond to campaigns. Phoenix Urological Surgeons, a urology-focused medical practice, has no prior public involvement in software development or analytics services.
The acquisition appears driven by a diversification strategy rather than operational overlap. Phoenix Urological Surgeons gains ownership of a revenue-generating analytics product with an existing customer base, while Fastbase AI Corp receives the financial backing and administrative infrastructure of an established healthcare organization. No changes to Fastbase AI Corp’s product lineup or customer support have been announced, suggesting the practice intends to maintain the software as a standalone business line.
For Phoenix Urological Surgeons, the deal introduces a non-clinical revenue stream that leverages recurring software subscriptions, a departure from traditional medical service billing. For Fastbase AI Corp, the acquisition provides stability under a parent company with no competing analytics products, reducing the risk of feature cannibalization. The combined entity will retain the Fastbase brand and its Copenhagen-based operations, with no immediate plans for relocation or staff reduction disclosed.
The transaction is expected to close within the current quarter, pending standard regulatory review. Post-close, Phoenix Urological Surgeons will oversee Fastbase AI Corp’s strategic direction, while day-to-day software development and sales continue under existing management. The acquisition adds a technology asset to a medical practice portfolio, a pairing that may open future opportunities for patient-facing digital tools, though no such initiatives have been confirmed.
