BW Group has acquired Everoze, an employee-owned renewables, green hydrogen and storage consultancy, for an undisclosed amount. The deal brings the Singapore-based shipping and energy conglomerate into the specialised technical advisory space, adding a team of engineers and consultants who bridge technical and commercial challenges across European and Asia-Pacific energy markets.
Everoze, which operates as a consultancy rather than a project developer, provides due diligence, project support and strategic advice to clients in renewables, storage and hydrogen. Its staff are active in global energy markets and work with major industry names to make projects financeable and futureproof. The company’s employee-owned structure has been a defining feature, and the acquisition by BW Group will integrate that expertise into a larger corporate framework while retaining the consultancy’s operational identity.
For BW Group, the acquisition is a move to deepen its involvement in the energy transition beyond its traditional shipping and infrastructure holdings. Everoze’s technical knowledge in areas such as battery storage and green hydrogen aligns with BW’s existing investments in clean energy assets. The consultancy’s ability to evaluate risk and opportunity quickly is expected to support BW’s decision-making on new projects and acquisitions, while Everoze gains access to a broader capital base and a wider network of industrial partners.
The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions. Once completed, Everoze will continue to serve its existing clients, with its team remaining in place. The combined entity is positioned to offer both technical advisory and financial backing for energy transition projects, potentially expanding Everoze’s reach into new geographies and larger-scale assignments.
