Radiology Partners has acquired Everlight Radiology for an undisclosed amount, a move that consolidates two significant players in the medical imaging sector. The transaction brings Everlight’s global teleradiology operations under the umbrella of one of the largest radiology practice management companies in the United States.

Everlight Radiology, headquartered in the UK and Sydney, operates a follow-the-sun model that provides 24/7 reporting capacity across the UK and Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Its network of over 800 accredited radiologists delivered critical care to more than 2 million patients in the last year. The company also holds ISO 27001 certification for information security and employs a proprietary in-house IT system to support its global reporting centres and home hubs.

Radiology Partners, which focuses on providing radiology services and practice management to hospitals and health systems, gains access to Everlight’s established international infrastructure and its after-hours reporting capabilities. This acquisition is intended to extend Radiology Partners’ service offerings beyond its domestic base, allowing it to address overnight and weekend coverage gaps for clients using Everlight’s distributed workforce. The deal also adds Everlight’s peer-review protocols and its track record with the University College of London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where it established a joint venture in 2011 that was later rebranded.

For Everlight, the acquisition provides access to Radiology Partners’ broader resources and operational scale, which could support further expansion of its technology platform and reporting capacity. The combined entity is expected to leverage Everlight’s global network to offer more flexible staffing solutions to radiology departments facing workforce shortages. The integration will likely focus on aligning reporting standards and IT systems across both organisations.

The completion of the deal positions the combined company to compete more effectively in the growing market for outsourced radiology services, particularly in regions where demand for sub-specialty reporting continues to rise.
