Residco Acquires Global Aviation Asset Manager Eir

Residco has acquired EirTrade Aviation for an undisclosed amount, marking a significant corporate transaction in the aviation services sector.

EirTrade Aviation, a global aviation asset management and trading company headquartered in Dublin with offices worldwide, specializes in supporting MROs, Operators, and Lessors.

Its comprehensive offerings include end-of-life Asset Management, Engine and Aircraft parts Trading, Disassembly, Consignments, Technical Storage, and various related services.

Notably, EirTrade Aviation operates Ireland’s only Aircraft Disassembly facility, located at its AFRA accredited premises in Ireland West Airport.

The company also provides specialized Engine Disassembly for CFM56-3/5A, -5B, and -7B, Engine Module Disassembly and Removal, Pre-Purchase Inspection, QEC/LRU Inventory Check, Engine Stand Swaps, and Storage.

This acquisition by Residco is strategically aimed at expanding its footprint within the aviation aftermarket and enhancing its service portfolio.

EirTrade Aviation’s established global presence and specialized technical capabilities, particularly in aircraft and engine disassembly and asset management, are expected to significantly complement Residco’s existing operations.
